'Meditative bookbinding'
Over de workshop
In the "Meditative Bookbinding" workshop, you'll learn three different techniques for binding three different booklets. We'll start with a Japanese-bound booklet, then a chain-stitch binding using handmade paper. We'll also make a long-stitch binding with a cover made of recycled fabric. Together, we'll explore the technique through hands-on activities, deepening our understanding, and creating. We'll enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch together. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is for everyone. At the end of the day, you'll go home with three beautiful, handmade booklets and all the knowledge and inspiration you need to continue binding at home! Voorwaarden
Reserve your workshop with the registration button above. As soon as the workshop is confirmed in the email, your spot is reserved. The week before the planned date I will contact you with a number of details for your participation. If there are too few registrations, the workshop will be moved. We work in small groups of maximum 6 people, so there are only a few spots available per workshop. If you can no longer participate, someone else can take your place. Cancel at least 24 hours before the start of the workshop. All materials are provided. If you want to bring your own paper, please use A5 size and no thicker than 120 grams.
